Well…they’ve cancelled the winter storm warning for my immediate area and replaced it with an advisory. It’s now calling for possibly 1-2 inches of snow with sleet and ice possible.

The videos I linked to in the last post are actually pretty interesting. I’ve always wanted to ride the trains in the fall and there are a couple of vids about that. The one on the first page about the caboose camping is pretty neat. Just about a month ago, at one of my clients’ homes, the couple and myself were talking about the trains and he mentioned the caboose camping. He said one of his acquaintances did that ride and thoroughly enjoyed it.
In the one “the best of wv” there are several places I have been. I camped near Seneca Rock with Jana and Satomi in 2000 or 2001. We hiked in 3 miles from the car. It also shows the North Bend Rail Trail; which is where the paternal farm is. North Bend State Park is right next to it and I was told that part of the park border once belonged to the family. Rhillai and I have fished a few of the places in the state and Cooper’s Rock is where he and I visited recently. It’s also the place where Sharyn and my b.i.l. and myself rode last year in the fall. I have pictures posted of that ride and I blogged about it.
I haven’t looked through all the videos, yet. But, I will look at more later. It’s pretty interesting. Some are better made than others. Some are humorous. Some very well made.

The WV Division of Tourism ran a contest for people to submit videos. A man from the next town up won it. I didn’t even know it was going on until I saw THIS report on it.
The winning video and the other submissions can be seen at the link below.

I think I might have posted about “The Weepies” awhile back. I had heard a song on a show and liked it. So, I looked it up. It was….. can’t remember the name… but something about “Nobody Knows Me.”
During the last couple of weeks, I saw three different commercials that had a woman’s voice that I liked. I thought they were possibly all the same person… but couldn’t place them to a name. I looked them all up…… and…….. they are all by “The Weepies.”
Here’s “All That I Want”
UPDATE:
Here’s “Nobody Knows Me At All”

Was talking with G.G. the other night about Fisher singing a few commercials. Here’s the latest one.
It’s a version of the song which another favorite of mine — Sarah McLachlan — did for the soundtrack of “Charlotte’s Web”.
I found Fisher — and became acquainted with them — because of the song “I Will Love You”.
I found a video of it on YouTube, also.
Excellent.
***Update 08/13/2014***
Due to the unprofessional, rude, and hateful behavior directed at me from both Kathy and Ron, I have decided I will no longer recommend them, nor purchase any more of their music.
You do what you feel comfortable with; just as I am.

Well…… I have to drive about 2 hours south to take back a computer to a courthouse. And…. it’s threatening freezing rain.
Oh, well.

Sharyn answered with a text message: “Whatever.”
UPDATE:
So…. she succeeded in ticking me off. After that text, I called her cell phone and left a message. She hasn’t responded. Probably won’t.
I basically said, “I want to know why you are going out of your way to tick me off. I told you business only and you wouldn’t accept that and leave it alone. You can’t just leave it alone. It’s your actions and choices that put us into this position.”

I had a disturbing dream last night. I can only remember parts of it and it is not real clear. I remember seeing a stroller amid damage/rubble and what looked like blood. It was like the stroller was sitting in front of a wall of some type. I remember thinking or hearing someone say that a bomb that went off at OSU. In the dream, I thought that stood for Ohio State University; but, wasn’t sure what it meant.
