Weather Persons

I should have known better.  A few days ago, the weather people were forecasting 70 degree weather for Friday.  I thought, “Wow.  That will be good.  I can get my bike inspected and actually get a chance to ride it.”

Then…. it was going to be 70 on Saturday.  Then….. Sunday.  Now, there are differing reports, with one major site saying it might be 70 on Sunday.  But, now everyone is saying rain.  It’s supposed to be upper 50’s with 40-50% chance of rain.

It’s just not right to get a person ready for something and then rip it out from under them.

Snowy Nights

It’s snowing this evening.  We have about 2 inches as I write this.  It’s a soft, fluffy snow.  I love evenings like tonight.  Softly falling snow, the quiet, the white branches and ground.  These are the kinds of nights I like to get out and walk. But, I’m still fighting off this bug.

Social Retardation

I have a MySpace page.  I logged into it yesterday to find a message waiting for me from someone I don’t know.  The sender’s page is that of a 26 year old woman from Michigan.  Her page says things like, “I’m a lover, not a hater,” and that she doesn’t allow negative people around her.

Her blog has quotes like:

 “Hurt people, hurt people”

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”

“What goes around, comes around”

One  quote says:

 Just remember that you are beautiful, stop caring about the judge-mentals.

Where is my post leading?  Well…. her message to me was:
