Today’s Pet Peeve Rant is:
“Take and”
Pronounced almost like “taken”.
Usage:
“I need to take and go to the store.”
“I am going to take and go riding.”
“
Ok…. do I REALLY need to tell anybody why this is wrong? Do I? Sigh….

How about when people say, “I ain’t got no…..” That one drives me nuts! I ain’t go no idea where they got their education!
Yeah… and that is only one of MANY for me. 🙂
You could add the two and get,
“I ain’t taking no ride to the store.”
