Free Fisher

Free Fisher Music

I’ve mentioned Fisher before.  They are another of my favorite bands and I have met them personally.  Kathy is from Middlebourne, WV…. where some of my family is from.

Every year at about this time, they would release a Christmas CD called “December”. This year, Ron re-worked “Christmas Face” (and I think a couple others) and has posted the CD again for a short time at their website.

Due to the unprofessional, rude, and hateful behavior directed at me from both Kathy and Ron, I have decided I will no longer recommend them, nor purchase any more of their music.

You do what you feel comfortable with; just as I am.

I watched “Constantine” tonight.  It was a decent movie.  There were some good special effects in it and I liked some of the “Good vs Evil” aspects.

Pritty

I took Pritty to get spayed this morning.  She has to stay until in the morning.  Now is when it’s hard to have empathy.

Listening to Silvie Lewis “By Heart” as I write.

Having a “discussion” online with a college student about the 2nd Amendment.  It’s so easy sometimes.  I shouldn’t enjoy it so much.

When in doubt, sound it out. 

House=hard “H”.  A house.

Hour = soft “H”.  An hour.

Hero = hard “H”

History = hard “H”

Cathie Ryan

One of my favorite Celtic artists is Cathie Ryan. I saw her perform at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh and it was an excellent show.  I just discovered that she is performing in Cincinnati this Thursday.  If it wasn’t such short notice, I’d try to make it to see her there.  She has one of the most amazing voices of anyone I’ve ever heard.

Her newest album is

  The Farthest Wave

I have her others (signed) and love them.  I recommend her highly.
